I don’t buy many knitting books nowadays. In part this is because I figure no knitting book is going to have something I don’t already have in my collection somewhere.
In part it’s because I might already own enough. But how many is really enough? I figure I’ll be knitting for another 30 years or so, making three to five sweaters or shawls or whatever a year, so that’s some 150 projects. If each knitting book contains an average of three projects I want to make, then I need 50 pattern books.
I think I have about 42 so far.
So I bought these two:
Refined Knits has amazing gorgeous patterns. Knit to Flatter has my next sweater in it. I just can’t decide which one.
