Art Nouveau is a favorite style of mine. In Paris, we saw a couple of exhibitions of the style.
But we also saw it on the street.
I love the curves.
The incorporation of natural shapes into the shapes of the furniture is lovely.
#2 daughter is not a special fan as I am, but she enjoyed the exhibits, too.
We saw fine art in the Art Nouveau style, of course, but I think I like best the decorative arts, the effort to make the ordinary beautiful.
