spider

Apparently this is a brown recluse spider. And apparently we had a whole colony of them in our walls.

Their venom is terrible. Google pictures of the wounds next time your want to be completely revolted. The bites also cause severe pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, muscle pain, and suchlike.

So the Bug Man came and we packed up two cats and a dog and went up to #1 daughter’s place, where it is always warm, tidy, and pretty.

The cats took it hard, never having been in a car before, but Toby handled it reasonably well.

We had lots of nice conversation and got back to the very cold house. The furnace is out so the house is cold and going to stay that way until Monday for sure, but I did clean before we let the Bug Man in.

Bad enough we have spiders. I didn’t want him to think we were messy, too.

So my office is tidy and organized except for a stack of papers needing to be filed.

The cold is okay becasue I have a thick flannel nightgown, a wool blanket, and a space heater. My husband headed out to watch football in a warm spot. I ordered pizza.

Here’s what happens if you eat more than you should and track it with Fitbit:

The crossed utensils says, “Stop eating now” and I think that’ll be a good cue for me, though I hope I won’t see it too often.

So here’s today’s habit report:

  • Exercise 30 minutes a day
  • Eat three wholesome meals each day, at normal mealtimes
  • Track those meals with Fitbit.
