Last Saturday #1 daughter and I held our branding and marketing retreat. We drove on winding roads dressed with autumn leaves and walked through damp, hilly streets, and I think we made some progress.

We also had lunch in a cozy Italian restaurant and did Christmas shopping.

I didn’y buy this necklace but I was tempted. I think I still need something for #2 son, and candy for stockings, but otherwise I feel finished.

I’m making fairly good progress on the sweaters, but will definitely need to put in some intensive knitting this weekend.

Having updated our plans, we came home and got to work. Monday included a conference call and rehearsal of the Master Chorale; Tuesday La Bella and I went to a concert of Venetian Glorias; Wednesday was breakfast with Grandpa, a meeting in the Next County, grocery shopping,  and choir practice; Thursday was writing day plus many phone calls; Friday was the last day of Comp I. A lot of human contact.

I have work to do this weekend, but also knitting and housework. It’s the last day of Guest Room Week on the HGP, and I need to get a room ready for #2 son’s visit. It’s also time for autumn decorating. Onward!
