We went up Poudre Canyon to see the Sleeping Elephant. There it is above, trunk to the left and tail to the right.
We went down to the water in a couple of places and had a picnic lunch at Century Park.
Even in the mountains, it’s High Plains prairie.
The mountains were dramatic — like wizard’s mountains in a movie. Back home, mountains are more like giant sleeping golden cats.
There was a cool little tunnel.
Many of the mountains were like piles of rocks.
When we got back to town, we went to a cider brewery.
