The day after my surgery I went for the one-day check-in. “Your vision is still blurry,” the surgeon remarked cheerily. “That doesn’t worry me at all!”
I think surgeons must have lots of confidence. Clearly, he felt that his not worrying was the important bit. I went along with it and didn’t worry either. Indeed, I can see so much better with the left eye now that I have nothing to complain about.
I don’t need reading glasses for most things — like reading, for example. I don’t have 20/20 vision for distance, but the feeling of having blurry vision is gone.
After the check in I got ready for the Great Grilled Cheese Party.

Lots of baking. The top left loaf was baked by #2 son and I did the others.
