At this point, I know the pieces I plan to make for the Fall Collection. Some are TnT — tried and true. Most of them are going to be gray. I can load the sewing machine up with gray thread and do most of the main construction on these over Labor Day — my long weekend sewcation.
The caridigan shown above, Chimera, will be the knitted cardigan for the Collection. I’m going to get to it as soon as I finish knitting George the Dog. That needs to be before the sewcation.
The Coco Jacket will be made up in the tattersall check Ponte.
Elle pants in gray ponte knit.
The Scarf T in gray jersey.
The Tailored T in gray print, with the 2 Hour Skirt in the same print for a 2-piece dress.
Those are the gray pieces, and I plan to get those sewn up over Labor Day weekend. The handwork can be spread over the following evenings.
I’ll be making the Victoriana T in burgundy jersey and lace.
The Bouvier Jacket is not exactly tried and true, but I am making another one in tweed. A skirt, too.
The remaining patterns are new to me, so I won’t expect to make them over the long weekend. I’ll work on them around my Christmas gifts.
The Delano Jacket is brand new to me, but it will be made in burgundy mohair sweater knit.
This new T is destined for the sage bamboo knit.
The skirt I’ll make in burgundy twill.
I’ll do this blouse in lace and also in print — as many as I have time for.
