I’ve been lying in bed a lot, and one thing I’ve been thinking about to wile away the time is what I’ll make with my stash this year.
Part of said stash includes about 18 skeins of assorted Aran weight yarn in tones of peach and pink.
I’m thinking it might make a pretty afghan.
There are a lot of patterns like this out there.
They use single, double, and treble crochet to make the central flower and surround it with a granny square or a variation on that theme, often with leaves built in.
I have a pattern like this somewhere. I tore it out of a magazine many years ago. But I think I can just use a photo — crochet is like that.
Just today ran across the pattern for the second one with the red joins. Now I want to make it in the pastels. Thanks for the inspiration.
