Today I learned that the pipe organ was the most complex manmade object from its inception until the advent of the telephone exchange in the late 19th century.

I made ribollita, an Italian soup, for the church potluck, ate a selection of salads, made a point of talking with people I didn’t know very well, and then came home and worked on the Little Girl’s quilt.

Dinner was a pork chop and couscous with cherries and pecans.
