Most of my day was taken up with my tax return. As always, I found it stressful and anxiety-provoking. This is why I do it right before the October extension deadline instead of in January or April.

But I had lunch with my kids and grandkids and then we went to the pumpkin patch to get some pumpkins.

The Big Girl pushed the wheelbarrow full of pumpkins.

The Little Girl really enjoyed the petting zoo. I admire the honesty in labeling.

The Littlest Girl just enjoyed the family and the new sights and smells.

Otherwise I just suffered over the tax return.

It’s not that big a deal, I know. But somehow it symbolizes all the things I totally hate. I hope it’s finished, though, and I hope I will do the next one in January instead of allowing it to become a traumatic experience.
