I finished this HotPatterns Sunshine Top, which actually belongs in the fall collection.
And I've done the ribbing for the back of the lilac Ketch.
I did this in the bus to and from rehearsals of John Stainer's "Crucifixion."
There were other knitters on the bus. One asked whether I was just making up the pattern. "This is just the ribbing," I said. "The directions are just cast one and knit 2xx2 ribbing for two and a half inches."
"I never knit without holding the instructions right in front of me," she said. "If it said,'Go to the bathroom,' I would."
She probably ends up with highly precise and successful projects. I always feel free to change things around. Even while I'm knitting. I end up with successful projects, but not always precise ones.
