We used to camp in the rain all the time, but the kids are being wimpoid and my husband is going beyond wimpoid to actual refusal to go unless the weather forecast changes. Will we camp? Plan A continues to be going camping. Plan B is to go in the morning, taking the tent but being open-minded about whether or not to stay the night. Plan C … well, we could stay home, continuing with our intensive program of lolling about.
I want to take the 7-mile hike! I want paddle boats! I want swimming and s’mores and a complete lack of electronic devices!
There will be other weekends.
the weather here has been kind of icky too…with tornado watches and warnings all over the place!
your quilts are looking gorgeous!!! (as are your cute doggies too!)
im not fond of people wimping out on camping on account of weather forcasted…it seems to me that actual weather is the only good reason. It’s not as if the weather people actually get things right very often.
forcasted bad weather should increase the likelihood of good weather in actuality.
Are you sure you don’t have your weather forcast mixed up with ours. I think we are going tropical. It’s been like a rainforest here. I like the pattern of your quilt. It’s coming out nicely. : )
And our weather forecast for tomorrow is fog, a low of -4 (25 in your terms) and a high of 10 (50). We’re a little colder over here than you are at the moment.
Lolling around sounds like a good holiday to me.
Wow, it’s so sunny over here. too bad that I have no desire to go camping.
