I stopped tracking my moods because I was always happy, but this week I’m not so happy. In fact, I’m tired, cranky, and irritable.

Why the sudden change? 12 hour work days, 6 hours of sleep a night, less inspired meals, fewer steps, fewer mid-morning workouts, skipping social events, more snacks… the changes have been creeping up on me over the past week as deadlines loom, and they’ve had an effect on my moods.

It’s easy to get into this pattern. I need to make sure that it’s temporary, though — two weeks temporary rather than two months temporary. I’m going to power out and get the deadlines met and then get back to a more human-friendly schedule.
