#1 son, DDL, and the Little Boy came by to pick up their dogs, who’ve been staying with us this week. We had good coffee and conversation, and then they headed home.
I had talks with my daughters, tried out #2 son’s new Portal with him, cleaned the kitchen, and baked this Greek Lemon Yogurt Cake from the Great British Bake Off cookbook. It’s tart and tender and altogether a lovely cake.

It’s easy, too. It’s made with olive oil rather than butter, so there’s no buttery flavor– but also no olive oil flavor. With almond meal, Greek yogurt, olive oil, and eggs, I think this is a relatively nutritious cake. Not too sweet.

Now it’s back to Christmas knitting, with a choice of House of Cards and Midsomer Murders for background.
