This is the HotPatterns Plain & Simple Tailored T.
This is a knitted top with a two-piece sleeve and side panels, plus darts in the front pice. It’s more complex than your average T, but also more refined. It’s easy to make.
The fabric is a digitally printed scuba knit. I bound the neckline with lace and did simple hems.
The pictures don’t really show the shape. It skims the body and isn’t as boxy as it appears. The darts are actually placed correctly. I like it a lot.
I’ve cut the 2-Hour Skirt to match and sewn up the seams, so once I complete the waistband and hem I’ll have a print 2-piece for my Spring Collection.
This is the same pair of patterns I used for last year’s print 2-piece, which I did in a Ponte knit print.
That was Saturday.
Sunday I went back to church, finally. The pastor announced our new grand baby and I jumped into the choir for “Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho.”
Then I went up to #1 daughter’s to play with the children and let her take a shower.
Such a beauty!
