I received a new scale. It has an app that claims to analyze body composition. If it’s accurate, my bone mass is low. Google tells me that 3-5 pounds is average for women and mine is 4.8 lbs. so that is not too bad, but I will work on it. My fat percentage is also low and my weight, but otherwise I am in the healthy range for everything.
For some reason, I get competitive with these numbers. Or maybe not competitive. Maybe it’s like getting a good grade. I feel triumphant when I have good numbers. A negative Cologuard result — yay for me!
Equally, I feel bad if my blood sugar numbers aren’t steadily improving.
This may be the wrong attitude.
I like my new scale, though.
