I finished the Kaisa sweater and I quite like it.
It’s a raglan sweater with a lace yoke. It’s made of Hanne Falkenberg No. 20 Shetland wool, a fingering weight yarn, on #5 needles. I made it good deal longer than the pattern called for and did ribbing at the neckline.
It’s an easy pattern overall, but I don’t feel that it is very well-designed. The sleeves are too small and it did require some changes. However, I like the overall effect so I will look for other patterns of the same type. It’s nice to have a bit of a fancy top that works with skirts and pants.
My Knitpicks order arrived. I unpacked it without taking a picture, I’m sad to say, but I definitely got some great bargains. Lovely yarn for three sweaters plus four new pattern books.
