My package from La Droguerie arrived today. We have a nice little local knitting shop. I enjoy visiting there, but it’s tool small to provide for my knitting needs reliably. So I order yarn from KnitPicks and occasionally from other shops.
La Droguerie is in France, and the shipping is ruinously expensive, but I could not resist what I ordered from them, and I enjoyed receiving the package completely
Tissue paper always adds to the festive air, and I like the way they tuck the shopping bag in.
This is for me. Patterns for the Spring Collection.
The most important thing: a vegetable sweater kit for the Baby.
Buying one skein of each color for this pattern would equal the cost of the shipping, I figure. The pattern is in the new men’s pattern book. I love that “For our men” includes babies.
I also got this book of knitting and sewing patterns for ages 2 to 6. The Baby is outgrowing the baby collections I have from La Droguerie, so I think I needed this book, too.
Clearly, this was a very practical and frugal order. More on these things later.
