It’s Labor Day weekend, the official end of summer. Granted, it’s still in the 90s, but the calendar ignores the weather. I’m back in my choirs and classes, my college kids are back in school, the HGP starts on Monday.
Summer is over.
My cousin Thierry shared an album of his summer in the country in Guyennes, from which this picture is taken.
Summer in the country sounds nice. Perhaps at some point in the future I’ll do that. This year’s road trip was a proper vacation, though, and I’m fine with summer’s end.
