I got Georgia’s dress nearly finished, swatched for #2 son’s vest, and completed the gray Fringe Festival top’s facings. With grocery, housework, a visit to the babies, church and Sunday school, this was an acceptably productive weekend.

But last night I had the hideous foot cramps again, and I slept for just 6 hours. I’m starting work late today. I hope that a shower and a large quantity of strong tea will help.

I think that my oral surgery has fully healed, but I am still not in tip-top form. I’m doing my Wii Fit for 30 minutes most days, but still not quite reaching 3,000 steps. I think I’m past the “soft foods” requirement, but still relying heavily on pasta and ice cream. I’m experiencing some pain and not sleeping very well.

What’s wrong with me? I don’t know.

Fortunately, I can cut myself a little slack. I may still be recuperating from my dental adventures. Or from the lifestyle changes those adventures brought about — namely, reduced exercise and increased processed foods. I think it took me a while to get back on top of things after my cataract surgery. That was probably less severe, even though it required more anesthesia.

Here’s what I don’t want to have to cope with: the possibility that this is just old age settling in.
