#1 daughter and I had brunch and talked baby clothes and nursery plans.
Then I ordered an assortment of fabrics from the Baby Jungle collection for the baby clothes.
We also went to the Evil Palace of Books, because that is the essential first step for all major life changes. I did not find a great baby knitting book there, but we found baby books and parenting books.
Not content with that shopping spree, I went to Joanne’s and got the materials for the baby quilt and some machine washable yarn. The coral touches may be just for a girl, but it’s mostly gray, blue, and a bit of yellow.
Gray and white will make for a soothing, neutral nursery, but small touches of other colors echo the clothing fabrics.
