I’ve made so many cute things from La Droguerie’s baby pattern books.
Now that the Baby is outgrowing infant sizes, I needed a book of larger sizes. So I chose a knitting and sewing pattern book.
It can be hard, when buying online, to know which book will be the best choice. This one was certainly a good choice.
I love these zoo animals! These will probably be the first ones I make.
The charts are not hard, but they are super clever.
Cat and dog in the same style are also totally cute.
Cute is always good, of course, but there are also splendid classic looks. The blue frock here has a knitted bodice and a fabric skirt. Such a clever idea!
They call it a Scottish tunic.
This classic jacket would be good for boys or girls.
“Sage comme une image,” literally “wise as a picture” but equivalent to our “good as gold,” was new to me, though I told my own children, “Soi sage” for “Be good.” I love the puffy beret and back buttoned tunic.
The book includes accessories, from headbands and barettes to a fancy purse. The fairy outfit even includes a wand. There are lots more, including black and white chic looks, colorblocked pieces, hats with ears, a knit dress, and lots of pretty sweaters.
The book is in French.
