#1 daughter and the Good Ol’ Boy came over for dinner. I made Sticky Lime Chicken and we had it with salad, melon, and rice.

I also made a Pampered Chef recipe, Mojito Torte. Pampered Chef recipes always look and taste as though there were a lot more trouble than they actually are.

It made me think of a curious trend Janalisa told me about — Naked Cakes. Martha Stewart did a feature on it, and it seems to encompass tortes, meringue layer desserts, large macarons, crepe cakes — any thing like a cake which has no icing on the sides. Apparently they are all the rage for weddings.

We had a good dinner and plenty of interesting conversation.
