I had a couple of interesting meetings with interesting people, followed by intensive work to catch up on what I otherwise would have been doing.

Then I did a couple of hours of serious knitting on Newport. Two hours, not the recommended three or four, seems to be what I can actually fit into a workday.

I’m to the point where the sleeve with its raglan lines is visible. I like doing something interesting with these lines. I’ve done lace and cables, with excellent results. This pattern just has a band of garter stitch. Not a favorite stitch of mine, and the M1 increases are messy, which is doubtless my fault.

I will not be frogging and reknitting this, so I keep telling myself that blocking will fix it.

Harumph.
