I’ve never read this book, but by coincidence it encapsulates my main Fall Collection colors.
I still have four items cut out and ready to sew which could be part of my fall collection:
- the print skirt, a faux wrap in the silk georgette
- a Sunshine Top in orchid which would be quite pretty with that skirt
- a Chimera jacket in lilac, ditto
- a dark gray fleece Gatsby coat
These are all HotPatterns designs. Together, they would be a nice outfit for winter. Separately, they will work with all my previous wardrobe pieces. I could take one more weekend before I leap into Christmas crafting and sew up all the seams.
