I slipped back into my morning routine well last week and I’m doing well on my p.m. routine this week. Last night I quit work just a little bit late. I made zucchini and chicken enchiladas for dinner, doing a back and biceps strength class while they were in the oven.

After dinner I changed the sheets and cleaned the kitchen, did a grocery order and got into my nightgown. I did my teeth and face and got to my needlework by 8:00 as planned.

Tonight I have a Zoom meeting, as II did on Sunday night. That will interfere with my evening routine, unquestionably.

But I am already benefiting from the level of automation I’ve been able to accomplish. I haven’t had high-pain days,  I like being properly dressed and ready for a meeting or visit (and those have happened quite a bit already this year).
