I’ve been alternating between bed (often with laptop) and desk (coughing and sniffling) for most of the time since I last wrote, though I did get to church and a meeting before I succumbed.

I’ve been sick. Nothing serious, though my husband asked whether it could be Ebola. I assured him that it wasn’t Ebola, and he mused that “Ebola” sounded like a pretty name for a girl.

The knitting here is #1 son’s sweater. Icelandic wool in midnight blue, with no visible shaping, will not photograph well. However, I have started the first sleeve and should get this finished by the end of the month, at which point I will start on #2 daughter’s Christmas sweater. If I get that done in November, then I can do #1 son’s in December. This is the plan.
