Today I have for you a really gorgeous song, “All My Heart This Night Rejoices.”

Ahhh.

This German hymn, published in 1653, was translated by Catherine Winkworth, who was a major translator of hymns.

Today I spent the whole afternoon working on a website. It was gentle, undemanding work — choosing and uploading photos, reformating blog posts, stuff like that.

It was nice to focus on one thing for several hours, instead of having to race through half a dozen things.

We’ve been working all year on scalability, and we now have lots of clients, which is good. Occasionally I miss the days when I could care specifically about all my clients at the same time. Now there are too many for me to keep in my mind at one time, so I can only care about them in smaller groups.
