Today, having shopped in our stash, we assemble our swatches and sort out all the colors.
My neutrals are brown, taupe, and gray.
Then we have a distinction between basic colors and statement colors. I've made a fairly arbitrary division and included rose and blue-green as basic colors.
I chose emerald, peacock blue, and gold as the statement colors. Gold is a tiny touch in the main print and part of the weave of the darker rose fabric. It shows up in the slubs in the tweed along with some rose. I might bring it in with accessories.
Emerald and peacock blue are both shades of blue green. This is a core color for me and I think they all work together.
