I’m loving this pattern, the Adiri Sweater. The stitches are beautiful, the yarn shows them off, the shaping is simple. The pattern is unorthodox, though. I thought it was a raglan to begin with, but it’s actually an ordinary set in sleeve — except that the shoulders narrow down to eight stitches and the neckline is finished off with ribbing so deep that it almost functions as a yoke. I’m curious about how that will work.
At this point, I’m planning to make one for myself after the holidays. The pattern has very small sizes and also very large sizes. Often that doesn’t work, but in this case, it seems as though the simple yet unorthodox construction might make it work just fine.
