I’ve added Fitbit to my day. Here’s my Day 1 dashboard:

So I took 5600 steps and got a 5,000 step badge. Apparently the goal is 10,000 steps, so I’m only moving about half as much as I ought to be. I was very active for 29 minutes — Wii Fit, which counted 30 minutes, so apparently I slacked off for a minute in there somewhere. It came to less than 2.5 miles, so I’m guessing five miles is the goal.

I was out again last evening and didn’t walk the dog in the evening. I thought about it, but didn’t actually do it. Instead I got on the phone with #1 daughter. I could have done both at the same time.

I also didn’t move much during the day. I think that if I add a walk after work and make more of an effort to get up and move around a bit during the day it will be easy for me to get to 10,000 steps.

We’ll see.

Then below is my RescueTime dashboard for the week so far. My goal is 80% productivity, since there are always phone calls and meetings and email, but I’m not quite there yet. My other goal is 5 hours of productive work a day, a goal which I usually reach, and it would be excellent if I accomplished that in 40-50 hours.

Today my husband is working. I do have to work, but I will fit in a walk, a bit of housekeeping, a trip to the farmers market. Perhaps a bit of needlework — I haven’t made anything (except with electricity) in a month.
