#1 daughter brought me shepherd’s pie for lunch.
I’m allowing myself espresso and cookies — Girl Scout cookies, in this example — but not random snacking during the day.
I’ve been eating way too many sweets.
I’ve still been having tech problems with my Wii, so I switched to DB 365 for my no-excuses morning exercise. I have seriously sore muscles. This is of course a good thing. It’s a big step up from my 3,000 steps…although my virtual trip up Mt. Fuji will clearly take longer. Those DB classes give me 1,000 steps, not the 3,000 steps I get from Wii Fit.
But it will be good to have this more intense exercise, and I am doing well with being consistent.
These are the things I’m working on this week: cutting sugar and cementing my exercise habit.
I made ants on a log for the Littles. They came to see me after school yesterday. “Nummy,” said the smallest. “It’s good.”
They both talked a lot. The bigger girl I holding conversations and the little one is using a bunch of words. It’s such a pleasure to spend time with them.
Nearly all my kids have been vaccinated now, so we will be able to spend time together with more confidence.
