Friday evening! I am going to take the evening off.
Class was fun today; the students are getting to know each other and relaxing enough to have interesting discussions.
After class, we had our weekly meeting. We have been putting fires out all week, and the meeting was largely brainstorming about assorted fires — not what we usually do, but necessary.
I made it home and dealt with piles of newspapers and bunches of phone calls and then I stopped working.
Just stopped.
It’s a summer evening, the guys left the house a bit ago so I have the place to myself, I have a stack of books which I do not have to review, and I am going to relax.
