I’ve sewn up the seams of my two Shirttail Ts and am doing the handwork while ignore watching Death in Paradise. #1 daughter is  having a rough weekend,so I am not completely happy. But we cannot fix everything for our kids. So I am trying to enjoy my planned Personal Sewing Weekend.

In the back of my mind, I’m sorting out my new meal plan. I have an appointment for diabetes education on Wednesday, but I think I can have my usual-decision breakfast of carb-conscious, high-protein, high fiber waffles with fruit.

Blue Apron dinners are fine, as long as I make the effort to cook and eat the vegetables. Steps for dinner:

  1. Fill half the plate with non-starchy vegetables.
  2. Put lean protein in the lower quadrant.
  3. Add whole grains, starchy vegetables,or fruit to finish the plate.
  4. Drink a glass of water.

I need a no-decision lunch. It should be fish and salad, with fruit for the carbohydrates. Maybe one bite of dark chocolate.

And since I am underweight right now, I will have a snack at 4:00 p.m. Cheese and crackers or nuts, I think.

On Wednesday, I’ll check the plan with the doctor.
