The deliveryman brought me these tools for my Diabetes Project: a medication organizer to help me remember to take my pills twice a day, test strips to check my blood sugar levels, and the Create Your Plate Diabetes Cookbook to get my eating where it should be to control blood sugar.
I still need to talk to the diabetes educator and learn how to check glucose levels (if that is in fact what I’ll be checking). I’m not back to my normal exercise schedule, but I am moving. I’m going to choir today too.
Dare I say I’m getting back to normal?
