I have a little experiment going on.
I’ve got four little blogs going. All are nice, useful pages. All have been submitted to Google and Yahoo. None of them sells anything.
- One got set up and left and doesn’t get any new content or anything.
- One gets good new content on a regular basis, and an occasional organic link.
- One gets good new content on a regular basis and is being submitted to directories.
- The fourth gets good new content and submission to directories, but someone else is doing it.
None of them is getting aggressive SEO/SEM or anything. This is an experiment. What I’m wondering is this: is it true that content is king, or does inorganic link-building really make a difference?
