What with all this time spent with people, new projects, and all, not to mention a couple of weeks of illness, I am seriously behind on work.
Nonetheless, I am making progress on Layette Item #1: the gray tweed cardigan with slipped stitch decoration.
Apart from that, I can’t say much. I’m having my proper no-decision breakfast, but then sometimes not getting around to lunch until 3:00 p.m. or later. Dinner comes at 7:00 or 8:00 and I’m certainly not cooking mindful plant-based meals at that hour. I’ve had cereal for dinner a couple of times, in fact. Not to mention candy bars (from Vine — how could I turn down free chocolate?).
I’m doing my first thing in the morning 3,000 steps with Wii, but haven’t been squeezing in the strength training at all. Maybe one day a week. And then, after a day filled with caffeine (because espresso after lunch and a late afternoon cup of tea keep me alert for evening stuff) and sugar and sitting at a desk, I sleep six hours or so, not eight.
My housekeeping tasks are catch as catch can and forget about taking care of my hair and skin. Because those things are the first to go when life gets interesting.
I’ll get back on track, I’m sure.
