I’m toying with the idea of doing a Whole30, roughly the same as Ignite from Daily Burn, but with badges.

The Whole30 people also have a habits list:

  • Nutrition
  • Sleep
  • Healthy Movement
  • Stress Management
  • Fun and Play
  • Personal Growth
  • Socialization
  • Natural Environment
  • Temperance

Today I was quite lazy. I also went to the store to buy salad, juice, and steak, and came away with a bunch of farewell sweets, so I spent the day not merely being lazy but also eating things I won’t be able to eat on the Whole30, as a sort of farewell to sweets.

#1 daughter came over and encouraged me to be lazy, and #2 daughter assured me over the phone that eating pie was a completely suitable thing to do in preparation for strict clean eating, so I felt vindicated.

Then my husband’s friends asked him to come watch football with them, so I had the house to myself and lolled around with a right good will. I’ve stayed up late after having slept badly for the past few nights, so I can pretty well guarantee that I will feel rotten in the morning.

This should make clean eating seem ever more appealing.
