Yesterday I went up to the church to help with the streaming worship for the Presbytery meeting. I’ve been attending livestream worship throughout the pandemic, but this is the first time I spoke and sang.

I rarely leave my house these days, so I made sure to enjoy to the fullest my choice of handbags and shoes, taking pleasure in the orderly arrangement in my closet.

It was good to sing, to hear music, to see people.

When I got home, I took a little extra time to try out my new bread machine — a final appliance upgrade in Kitchen Week. I enjoyed having a place for everything and everything in its place, finding everything I needed and being able to work efficiently and clean up easily.

The kitchen needs scrubbing, but everything is still organized and orderly.

I need to finish up the office, so I’m glad to find that the kitchen is pretty good. Scrubbing must be done, though.
