I went cold sheep for 2022, in the sense that I am not buying yarn…except for that unavoidable purchase I already confessed to. However, Vine has been sending me yarn pretty regularly.
Purple wool — one skein shown here but they sent three, so I can make a hat or scarf. Purple cotton, too, and maybe it’s enough for a summer top. I had bought periwinkle yarn at the end of last year so I could make a sweater in the Color of the Year, but somehow I managed to lose it, so I am glad to have some purple.
Green cotton and pink cotton, too, about 500 yards of each. Maybe something for the little girls? Summer tops? Lacy shawls?
I can always buy more so I’ll have enough for a sweater, but then I wouldn’t be sticking fast to my cold sheep plan.
I’ve made a good start on the Forestfox cardigan, in any case. I have to swatch up the Vine yarns, but I expect the Forestfox to keep me entertained for the next couple of months.
